Chicago’s classic architecture cruises resume in March and April, with the Chicago Architecture Center and Chicago’s First Lady Architectural River Cruise being both a local and a traveler favorite. Festival Season Kick-off
Technically, true festival season kicks off in summer in Chicago with some of the most beloved events returning this year after a COVID-induced hiatus. But we can’t think of a better way to get primed for festival season than by starting it off with the Chicago Exclusive Whiskey Tasting Festival on April 30.
This high-end tasting event pours samples from more than 20 different varieties, everything from Calumet Farm 15 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon to Suntory Hibiki Harmony blended Japanese whiskey. There’s also a buffet-style reception to soak up all the whiskey drinks. Tickets are available here.
